Blog Continued

So I have decided to keep my blog.
More or less for me. Sometimes it helps to just talk and get things off you chest without having to worry whether anyone is actually listening to me.
This way I can just pretend that everyone is listening and is interested in what I have to say!

So as you can see I have changed the name of my blog- Rules of a Southern Housewife.
(I can't really have a "Wedding Blog" when I am no longer actually planning a wedding).
So now I am going to blog about everything that comes after the wedding, and the precise rules to be followed!
Not really rules per-say, more like advice about becoming a housewife.

So I will probably make my first post later this weekend; until then!

My Beautiful Wedding Slideshow

Have I mentioned how amazing Holli Brewer is?
I absolutely love her.
She is the BEST photographer. Ever.
She even put together an adorable slideshow of pictures from our wedding.
I keep watching it over and over and over.
I'm not vain, it's just that it is so sweet and makes me so happy.

Wedding Bliss

I have now been married two weeks.....weird.

I know I didn't post everyday the week of my wedding like I said I would......
But can you really blame me?
I was kind of busy.

Nevertheless,
The wedding was wonderful.
It was honestly my DREAM wedding come true,
And I wouldn't have changed ONE SINGLE THING!

Within the next couple weeks I'll be posting some more pictures of the decorations so people can see how everthing turned out.

Until then I'll be trying to decide if I want to continue this little blogging adventure.
And if I do, what will I blog about?

All Homemade

So I said that I wanted a southern, homey, backyard wedding, and that's what I'm getting!
And I couldn't be happier about that.
There have been decorations that we have bought, or borrowed, but so much of it is things that we have done ourselves!
And I think that makes it so much more special and meaningful.

My brother and sister-in-law got here on Tuesday, and Adam went straight to work.
What an awesome big brother.

Bad Blogger marries in Beautiful Backyard

Yes, I know I did not blog yesterday.
Yes, I know I said I would blog every single day this week.
Yes, I know that I'm a bad blogger.


Ok, now that we've got that over with,
my backyard is beautiful.
I couldn't have asked for a more PERFECT wedding venue.
I'm getting married at the home that I grew up in.
All of my favorite memories are here.
And now I'm about to have another one.
I have the best set of parents.
My dad has been working on our yard since August,
working his hardest to make it beautiful for me.
And he has. Wow.
My mom also.
Beautiful flowers. What a green thumb she has.
Anyone who needs a landscaper.......hire her.

My dad is amazing. Our yard looks absolutely amazing, and I couldn't be more thankful to him.
I love you, Dad. Happy Birthday (tomorrow).

It may be 11:25PM but I finally got an entry posted today!

It was hard for me to only pick 10 to post.....I love them all!

Countdown!

Up until now, less than a week before my wedding,

I have been a bad blogger.

I don't know what I was thinking.

Going to school, planning a wedding, AND blogging about it?

But if there is anytime to blog about my wedding, it's this week.

I am going to try my hardest to blog everyday.

Maybe even twice a day.
